A majority of the functionality in the scheduling system can have security permissions assigned based on groups. For instance, you may want certain users to be able to log in and view the schedule, but not make any reservations. You may want mechanics to be able to take planes out of service and post message, but not have access to user accounts. Both are examples of the control you have in the scheduling system.
